Teens 2022 Curriculum

ROOTS
This four-lesson series covers the essential topics of salvation, personal quiet time, spiritual disciplines, and Scripture memory.

THE BASICS
This four-lesson series covers basic truths that every follower of Jesus should understand and deals with the Christian basic topics of how to share your testimony, evangelism, biblical change, and accountability.

BIG GOD
This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth concerning God the Father. It specifically deals with God’s attributes of transcendence, sovereignty, immutability, and faithfulness.

FOREVER
This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth about the topic of salvation. It specifically deals with the topics of adoption, justification, eternal security, and eternal life.

THE CHURCH
This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth concerning the church. It specifically deals with the disciple-making mission of the church, the leadership of the church, and the two ordinances of baptism and communion.

UNIQUE
This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth about the Bible itself. It specifically deals with the topics of the reliability of Scripture, the divine nature of Scripture, how Jesus Christ valued Scripture, and how the Bible is the ultimate authority for a Christian.

VANITY FAIR
This four-lesson series is written from the Old Testament Book of Ecclesiastes. It specifically deals with a proper view of one’s possessions, a proper view of time, the importance of using our days wisely, and the final word on the point of life.

UNWAVERING
This four-lesson series is written from the New Testament Book of 2 Timothy. It specifically deals with Paul’s encouragement to Timothy to have a solid foundation, to serve others, to stand for the truth, and to finish strong.

CONVERSATIONS
This is a four-lesson apologetic series that helps students know how to have an intelligent, civil conversation with someone who holds to a belief system that is different than biblical Christianity. The four belief systems discussed are Catholicism, Islam, Jehovah’s Witness, and Mormonism.

STUCK
This is a four-lesson topical series on idols of the heart. Students will learn how to identify the idols of their own hearts, identify the idol of outward appearance, the idol of the approval of others, and will be challenged to remove those idols and worship the one true God.

DEAL WITH IT
This four-lesson topical series is designed to help youth leaders teach the biblical approach to difficult topics. The topics of the lessons are pornography, entertainment choices, homosexuality, and addictions.

RANK - FALL IN LINE
This is a four-lesson topical series on authority. Students will learn about the Supreme Authority, how to fall under authority, the consequences of disobeying authority, and how to properly respond to someone who abuses their authority.
