Teens 2026 Curriculum
The Student Ministries curriculum provides engaging lessons that will equip students to obey the truth of God’s Word out of love for Christ. Each lesson clearly connects the truth of God’s Word to the life of the student and presents a choice for life transformation.
Modules
Quiet Time
1Communicating With Our Creator This four-lesson series is designed to help youth leaders challenge students to grow in their walk with Christ through having a personal quiet time. Students will be encouraged to begin having a quiet time, learn practical ways of having a quiet time, learn the necessity of prayer in their quiet time, and learn how to consistently share with others what they learn from their quiet time.
Prayer
2More Than A List This four-lesson topical series will discuss the topic of prayer. Students will learn to praise God for His attributes, confess sins to God, express thanksgiving to God, and learn how to pray for themselves and for others.
Canvas
3Painting a Picture of God This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth concerning God the Father. It specifically deals with God’s existence, His key attributes, that He is a Father, and how to talk to Him in prayer.
I Am
4Who is Jesus? This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth about Jesus Christ. Students will learn about Jesus as The Bread of Life, The Light of the World, The Good Shepherd, and The True Vine.
In Concert
5Gifts Brought Together This four-lesson series covers doctrinal truth about the Holy Spirit. Students will learn that the Holy Spirit gifts us, empowers us, intercedes for us, and sustains us.
First & Foremost
6Christ Above All This four-lesson series is written from the New Testament Book of Colossians. It specifically deals with the superiority of Christ, freedom in Christ, Christ’s work in the life of a believer, and how to interact with others in a way that honours Christ.
Short Books
7New Testament This four-lesson series is written from the one-chapter books of the New Testament — 2 John, 3 John, Jude, and Philemon. It specifically deals with building your faith, serving others, defending your faith, and forgiving others.
Not Forgotten
8This four-lesson series is written from the Old Testament Book of Job. Students will learn how to trust God when life doesn’t make sense, how to support their friends with biblical wisdom, that God understands their pain, and be encouraged to draw close to God.
Landslide
9A Spiritual Disaster This four-lesson series is written from four of the shortest books of the Old Testament — Obadiah, Joel, Habakkuk, and Haggai. It specifically deals with spiritual desertion, spiritual rebellion, spiritual confusion, and spiritual indifference.
Puzzled
10Parables That Make You Think This is a four-lesson series from the parables of Jesus. Students will learn about the two builders (Luke 6:46-49), the two sons (Matthew 21), the two worshippers (Luke 19:9-14), and the two debtors (Luke 7:36-50).
Train Wreck
11Off the Rails This four-lesson series is a character study in the lives of four malicious men of the Bible. Students will learn from the negative examples of Cain, Samson, Haman, and Herod the Great.
Wicked
12Don't Waste Your Life This four-lesson series is a character study in the lives of four wicked women of the Bible. Students will learn from the negative examples of Jezebel, Delilah, Potiphar’s wife, and Lot’s wife.
Holidays
13Beyond the Festivities This is a four-lesson holiday series with lessons that are designed to be used around Christmas, Easter, New Year’s, and Valentine’s Day.
