Olympians 2022 Curriculum

Olympians is built around a profound theme found in the Bible: the Christian life as a race. The Olympians curriculum is designed to help children establish a biblical foundation that will encourage obedience to God’s Word out of a love for Christ.

DESCENDANTS
This four-lesson series shows how the Bible is really one narrative that points to Jesus Christ. The lessons will cover the lives of people in the family tree of Jesus (Boaz, David, Mary and Joseph) and the birth of Jesus.

Bold

BOLD
This four-lesson series is an Old Testament book study from 1 Kings. It covers the following events: Elijah and the widow of Zarephath, Elijah and Obadiah, Elijah and the prophets of Baal, and God talking to Elijah in a still small voice.

Unshakable

UNSHAKABLE
This four-lesson series is a New Testament book study from 2 Timothy. The lessons will challenge the children to proudly proclaim the name of Jesus, to stay committed to Jesus, to stand for the truth, and to stay faithful to Jesus no matter what the circumstances.

WORK OF ART
This four-lesson series is designed to help children develop godly character. The first two lessons deal with grace through the parable of the prodigal son and the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears. The last two lessons deal with patience through learning about the life of Job and the life of Simeon.

Wonder Women

WONDER WOMEN
This four-lesson series introduces children to different biblical women who chose to display godly characteristics in their lives. The four characters are Martha, Mary, Naaman’s servant girl, and Deborah.

This two-lesson series introduces children to modern-day heroes of the faith. The first lesson is about the life of Taylor Hudson, missionary to China. The second lesson is about Annie Armstrong, a woman who dramatically impacted missions in North America.

This four-lesson series is designed to help children learn timeless, doctrinal truths about God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible.

Stuck

STUCK
This four-lesson series covers the topic of sin. Children will be challenged to battle sin by choosing to obey. The lessons will cover how to avoid being stuck in sin, how to choose not to take revenge, how to confess sin instead of hiding it, and how to have victory over sin

Action

ACTION
This four-lesson series discusses the topic of service. Children are taught how to serve others and how to serve in age-appropriate ways. They will be taught to give their best when serving, to serve others first, to have a willingness to serve, and to begin serving in their own home.

Second

This four-lesson series is designed to teach children how to treat one another. The Bible has many “One Another” statements. This series will cover these four statements: consider one another better than self, bear with one another, seek good for one another, and spur one another to good works.

The Gospel

THE GOSPEL
This two-lesson series covers the Gospel and is written with the G.O.S.P.E.L. outline from Dare2Share adapted for children and a paper tear-and-share visual. The first lesson is designed to share the truth of the Gospel so children can trust Christ as Saviour. The second lesson is designed to help the children use what they learned to share the Gospel with others.

Festive

This four-lesson series provides holiday specific lessons. The first lesson is designed to be used around Christmas. The second lesson is designed to be used around Easter. The third lesson is a lesson about love and could be used around Valentine’s Day. The fourth lesson is about thanksgiving and could be used around the Thanksgiving holiday.

This four-lesson series covers topics that are core essentials for the Christian life. The four topics are personal quiet time, prayer, personal spiritual growth, and Scripture memory.
