Module Overview

Exposing the Double-Minded
This four-lesson series is a New Testament Book study in the Book of James. The series will center around the concept of a double-minded man being unstable in all his ways. The four lessons will discuss an unstable faith caused by doubt; an unstable judgment caused by partiality; an unstable tongue caused by duplicity, and an unstable dependence caused by arrogance.

Lessons

Unstable Faith

1 
Students will learn that doubting God produces an unstable faith and will be encouraged to seek God’s wisdom.

Unstable Judgment

Students will learn that showing partiality is wrong and will be challenged to treat everyone fairly through God’s mercy.

Unstable Tongue

3 
Students will learn that the tongue is a powerful instrument and will be urged to use it to edify others.

Unstable Dependence

4 
Students will understand the foolishness of arrogance and be challenged to live dependent upon God.
