Module Overview

Not Just a Building
This four-lesson series is designed to teach doctrinal truth about the Church (Ecclesiology). The lessons will help the children understand the differences between the universal and local church, how the church functions as one body, and the ordinances of baptism and communion.

Children will learn the differences and similarities between the universal church and the local church and will be encouraged to be involved in the church.

The Church is a Body

2 
Children will learn that the church is like a body and will be encouraged to serve God in and through the local church.

Believer’s Baptism

3 
Children will learn that believer’s baptism is an important step of obedience for a Christian and will be encouraged to identify with Christ through baptism.

Not Just Another Meal

4 
Children will understand the significance of communion and choose to properly participate in this important memorial.
