Olympians 2026 Curriculum
The Olympians Bible Study is a module-style curriculum designed to help children establish a biblical foundation that will encourage obedience to God’s Word out of a love for Jesus Christ. Each module consists of creatively developed lessons that enable a teacher to present biblical truth in a practical way with a variety of styles.
Modules
Basic Training
1This four-lesson series covers topics that are essential to the Christian life. The four topics are quiet time, prayer, Scripture memory, and Christian service.
Appointed by God
2This four-lesson series is an Old Testament book study from the Book of 1 Samuel. It is designed to show children that they can trust God in prayer, that He is worthy to be followed, that they can trust God’s direction for their lives, and that God values what is in their hearts more than outward appearances.
All In
3This four-lesson series is a New Testament book study from the Book of Acts (chapters 5-10). The lessons will challenge the children to willingly confess their sins to God, to share Christ’s love with everyone, to trust Him in every area of their lives, and to trust Him as Savior.
The Case for Forgiveness
4This four-lesson topical series is designed to help children develop godly character. The lessons will challenge the children to forgive those who hurt them, to praise God for His mercy, to always choose forgiveness, and to follow Jesus’ example of forgiveness.
Prep Work
5This four-lesson topical series is designed to use the parables of Jesus to help the children develop godly character. The lessons will challenge the children to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, to anticipate His return by living for Him, to take steps to be prepared for Christ’s arrival, and to count the cost of being a disciple of Jesus.
God
6This four-lesson series is designed to teach doctrinal truth about God the Father. The lessons will help the children trust that God is good, to express confidence in His power, to submit to His rule in their lives, and to hope in His promises even when things are difficult.
The Sin Problem
7This four-lesson series is designed to teach doctrinal truth about sin (hamartiology). The lessons will urge the children to trust in Jesus as their Savior from sin, to confess their sins to God to receive forgiveness, to flee from sin and follow after righteousness, and to yield their hearts to God.
God's Presence
8This four-lesson series is an Old Testament events study from the books of Exodus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Children will be challenged to begin a relationship with God, to trust Him even when it is difficult, to do things God’s way, and to trust God when they are afraid.
Trekking
9This four-lesson series is an Old Testament events study from the Book of Joshua. Children will be challenged to express their trust in God when they feel overwhelmed, to tell others about God’s faithfulness, to act in faith by doing what He says, and to repent of sin and believe in Jesus.
Gideon & Samson
10This four-lesson series is an Old Testament events study from the Book of Judges that covers events from the lives of Gideon and Samson. Children will be encouraged to tell others about the patience and mercy of God, to tell others about His greatness, to live a life that honors God, and to repent of their sins.
Overflow
11This four-lesson series is a New Testament events study about the life of Jesus. Children will be challenged to love God and love others, to love others regardless of their status or popularity, to follow Jesus’ example of showing love to others, and to show proper respect to God.
Days to Remember
12This four-lesson series provides holiday-specific lessons. The first two lessons are designed to be used around Christmas. These lessons will challenge children to look for ways to worship God daily, and challenge them to commit to stay faithful to God for life. The second two lessons are designed to be used around Easter, and focus on Palm Sunday, the crucifixion, and the resurrection of Jesus. Children will be encouraged to recognize Jesus as the King of kings, and to trust Jesus as their Savior.
