Module Overview

This four-lesson series is an Old Testament book study from the Book of 1 Samuel. It is designed to show children that they can trust God in prayer, that He is worthy to be followed, that they can trust God’s direction for their lives, and that God values what is in their hearts more than outward appearances.

Lessons

1 Tell Him All About It!

Children will learn that God answers prayer and will be encouraged to bring their requests to God, trusting He has our best interests in mind.

2 Here I Am, Lord

Children will learn that God is worthy to be followed and will be challenged to eagerly do whatever God asks them to do.

3 The Wise Way

Children will learn the difference between desiring what God wants and what they may want and will be challenged to trust God’s direction as the best path.

4 A Heart for God

Children will learn that God values what is in our hearts more than our outward appearance and will be challenged to develop a heart for God.
