This two-lesson summer series explains how Peter and John helped the lame man at the temple. God also wants them to help those who are in need. Even though the children of Israel disobeyed God by worshipping a golden calf instead of worshipping Him, God forgave the Israelites’ sins.

The children will learn how Peter and John helped the lame man at the temple. They will begin to understand that God also wants them to help those who are in need.

The Golden Calf

The children will learn that the children of Israel disobeyed God by worshipping a golden calf instead of worshipping Him. They will learn that God forgave the people for the wrong things they had done. The children will also learn that God will forgive their sins just as He forgave the Israelites’ sins.
