I CAN PRAY
This four-lesson foundational series teaches about prayer. Jesus teaches us how to pray. Daniel helps us understand how important it is for us to pray. Jesus wants us to talk to Him in prayer. The fourth lesson is a review of the first three and includes the Gopher Buddies puppets.

Lessons

Jesus Teaches How to Pray

1 
Children will understand what prayer is. They will begin to learn what to pray for.

Daniel Prays to God

2 
Children will learn that Daniel knew it was important to talk to God every day. They will also learn that God protected Daniel in the lions’ den.

Jesus Wants Me to Pray

3 
After hearing Jesus’ story about a Pharisee and a tax collector praying, the children will begin to understand that God wants us talk to Him with respect and to think about Him when we pray.

Review Lesson

4 
Children will understand what prayer is. They will be reminded of the things they are to pray for, the importance of talking to God every day, and how they can show respect to God when they pray.
