Module Overview

SAND AND STONES
This two-lesson summer series explains that when they choose to read (or listen to) God’s Word and obey it, they will be like the wise man who built his house on the rock. In the second lesson. David believed God would help him defeat Goliath. The children will begin to understand that just like David, they should believe God will help them.

Lessons

Let's Build a House

1 
The children will listen and learn about Jesus parable about the wise and foolish builders. They will learn that when they choose to read (or listen to) God’s Word and try to obey it, they will be like the wise man who built his house on the rock.

A Sling and a Stone

2 
The children will learn that David believed God would help him defeat Goliath. They will begin to understand that just like David they should believe that God will help them, too.
