Module Overview
This summer module uses the theme of travel to teach about Jesus’ assentation and about Heaven. In the first lesson children will learn that after Jesus told the disciples to tell others the Good News about Him, He was taken up in a cloud to Heaven. The second lesson teaches children that Heaven is a wonderful place because Jesus is there.
Lessons
Jesus Goes Home
1The children will learn what happened after Jesus rose from the dead. They will be taught the great commission and that they can share the Good News of Jesus with others.
Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life
2The children will learn that Jesus is now in Heaven preparing a place for us to live with Him. This lesson encourages children to believe in Jesus because He is the only way to Heaven.
