Module Overview

This summer module teaches two lessons from scripture that incorporate fire. They will learn about Moses’ encounter with the burning bush. The second lesson will teach about how God sent fire from Heaven to burn up Elijah’s sacrifice. Our God is the one true God.

Lessons

Moses and the Burning Bush

1 
Children will learn that God spoke to Moses from a burning bush. They will begin to understand that God has a plan for their lives just as He had a plan for Moses.

A Fiery Contest

2 
The children will learn how Elijah showed the people that our God is the one true God. They will understand that only a real God could send fire from Heaven to burn the wet sacrifice on the altar. The children will be encouraged to worship our living God.
